Hand Woven

Hand woven cane seats consists of 7 steps, 6 of which include weving and the final step which is the binding of the edge. This weaving inclues vertical, horizontal and diagonal weaves.

Sheet Caning (Press work)

A prewoven sheet is required to restore the seat. Usually distinduished by a groove around the edge of the seat.

Seagrass Seats

These are hand woven seats using seagrass. Also includes rush seats which can be rewoven with seagrass.
